here and there

i slept very early last night, went to bed at 10pm, haha.
am now eating breakfast, hope don't miss the 750am express bus. the bus really quite good, will reach shenton way at 830am, so when i get into office still very empty, but peter pan would be there already.

have been eating lunch alone quite often, 'cos im with the regional team right, all ang moh guys, and they also don't really go out and eat together. as for the local team, i don't know them very well, know a few, and have tried to ask them out for lunch before but they quite busy and usually da-bao, so i gave up asking also. but it's ok. i pop opposite to international plaza (ip) to eat killney (they sell other stuff, not just bread) or mee siam. the newbies in the company are supposed to organise the xmas party (so last min!) but it would be a good opportunity for me to know more people!

other than that, the people dress very casually which is good and not. very different from stb - the girls always dress to kill, haha. but i am trying to establish my dressing style in the company - can be casual but sometimes also dress up.

on real work proper, my boss involves me in high-level meetings and discussions but i need to learn to think quckly and speak up. really need to read more and broaden my knowledge.
