updating

i wanted to sleep earlier tonight - but after all the packing here & there, again its past midnight :p

well well, i paid my rental & got my keys already, YEAH ! checked the apartment again to make sure all's well. then i realised there is no DVD player - but heng heng lo, the gas stove was down so we called the owner.. and the owner mentioned that there's a DVD next door (vacant) and ask if i needed one - OF COS !! haa :) so another freebie!

realie realie need to go IKEA - but first things first, priority is bed sheets + pillow + quilt cover! all others can wait .. *p/s i need to collect enough 发票to claim for allowances to easer my cashflow... ARGH, this is the painful thing here... and they do not accept makan receipts...

and wendy (my housemate aka mariko's friend) jio-ed for impromptu welcome dinner.

so here's wendy - she's skinny lo (and she said she was skinnier back then!) She just moved over in April. See this pic, she's actualie kinda distracted by some ang mohs at the table beside us. We kinda click (heng ah!) and we have much to gossip abt... cos she oso know my boss ... hee!












Alright, first consolation of the day - i caught my bus ! Bus is supposed to leave at 7.40am but left at 7.30am! lucky i was early :s and it will reach my 'new' bus-stop at 8am

so here's a sleepy me look at 7.30am ! and me being me, simply concussed within the 5 min once i passed my 'new' bus-stop (cos i need to synchronise my watch ma.. haa)

so here's my new place ... 上海市徐家汇区凯旋路3188弄2号2502室. Checked out the surroundings again, there's a supermarket & '7-11' right beside the apartment. Good - then I can buy fresh food to cook! And that area has plentiful of furniture shops and alot more of interior design stores doing mainly kitchens lo ! LOL

so its 5 min walk to the bus-pick up point (bus actually turns to my apartment b4 reaching the bus-stop, so i will make friend with driver lo!! haa)

5 min to Stadium MTR which links me to the Stadium side and that area has yummy stuff! and from this station i am 2 stops away from Shanz and also the city central..

Boss brought us out for lunch - 南翔小笼包 - the authentic one! cos 南翔 is actually the little town within my office area ! so how ulu isit !!

quite a fair bit of discussion today - realise my boss EQ seems a lil low. How should i put it, he's kinda harmless, but somehow just not tactful. So my colleagues will turn to me and show me the 翻白眼look cos they are quite displeased with boss. seems like i have to play quite some middleman here - he's looking me as his sort of anchor point. and i have to pull the team together. but not when he's not giving me the resources.. (yes, my colleague is using her own laptop!) humpH ! how how how ??

so i'm reminding myself not to comment too much yet - i believe that my boss is certainly capable is certain ways. so i must find his good points and learn from him. and when i slowly know him better than can probably share more of view on the overall team management to him.

honest to say, the environment itself is kinda demoralising. lok kok - dirty - messy. ok, tomorrow must take photo to show you. oh yes, not to forget my 2nd consolation of the day, got a new keyboard - nice n clean :) and also changed the phone (packed my wet tissue in my bag so that i can give it a good wipe b4 i continue to put it near my face)! **i kena 1 pimple leh!! between my cheekbone & upper nose bridge DAMNED **

i realie hope that the reno works for the office can start soon - well, if its such an unbearable working environment, how would you expect people to piah for u ah???

hoping to hear from him abt the business directions of the team - cos it's seems like he's ambitious to want to do anything & everything. FAINT!

no worries, i am still ok for now. will definitely find my way to fit in... and find even more ways to contribute and let him realise that he make a GOOD decision in hiring me !
